We asked an AI model the real questions buyers ask — 5 questions per brand, 60 major brands, 12 industries — and recorded who gets named. Scores from the free AI Visibility Checker engine. Free to cite (CC BY 4.0, link required).
📉 30% of the 60 major brands we tested are largely invisible in AI answers — and 28% were never named once across every buyer question. Household names. Billion-dollar revenues. Absent from the answer.

Methodology
For each brand we ask a current frontier AI model five real buyer questions for its category (e.g. "What are the best trucking companies?"). Score = mention rate (0–100). 70+ = AI knows you; under 40 = largely invisible. Snapshot: June 2026, US market. One model is a proxy, not the universe — but "who gets named" is the metric that decides who gets the customer. Raw data: index.json · sitemap.
